This is the version we showed to a group of year 10's aged 14 - 15 years old. We got them to give us feedback about what they liked and what they disliked.

Above is the website I created for my groups film trailer. I used Wix.com as it has already made templates which were easy to edit over and revert to what you would like it to be.

Above is the poster Rhiannon created using Canva an online website used by lots of people to create posters and articles easily.

Below is the draft version of our poster but we decided it was not appropriate as it was too like a bus banner and Facebook event cover.

Draft Poster:

• Red writing - danger and death
• Features main character to create an automatic connection
• Producer, director and editor at the bottom
• Production company at the top which partly blends in with the image and red text to not distract from key focus
• Black and white - isolation, danger
• No, release date or tagline
• Very little revealed

Final Poster:

• Main actresses name stand out
• Does not reveal genre with colour
• Title is key focus stands out
• Allows audience to see the two main characters
• Two key shots 
• Main location revealed creating mystery and engaging with audience
• No red, so does not indicate danger so may be misleading to audience

BBFC

First Draft of Trailer

We showed this draft to our target audience and they found it to be scary and intense. They particularly liked the choice for sound rather than having one track for it. However they believed it could be improved my increasing the number of scary shots as they are minimal and perhaps do not meet the BBFC of 15. Therefore we are going to increase the number of short shots to improve the tension being created.
